I regret to inform you that Dennis Pelletier, an active and committed member of our Board of Trustees from 1998 until just two weeks ago, passed away suddenly yesterday.
Dennis had served as president of the Monroe County Legislature since 1998 until he resigned the presidency and his legislative seat last month in order to take the position of executive director of the Monroe County Water Authority. He was first elected to the Legislature by the residents of Greece, Ogden, Parma and Spencerport in 1993.
Dennis was a strong advocate for MCC in the county legislature and in the community. He will be missed.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Renee, and two children. Details regarding services are incomplete at this time.
