In September of 2015, the MCC Upward Bound program welcomed not 2 but 3 new AmeriCorps program advisors! Lindsay Lupiani, Kyle Fletcher and Jena Smith. Lindsay will work with 9th thru 11th graders at Rochester Early College and Wilson, while Kyle will be working with 9th thru 11th graders at North East and World of Inquiry. Jena will concentrate on seniors at all 4 schools. In the schools, they will offer tutoring, support and work to recruit 9th and 10th graders. Although this is their first term with AmeriCorps, all three bring valuable skills, knowledge and experience to the program.
