From a virtual homecoming to a comedy performance by Pauly Shore, MCC’s Alumni Week and Homecoming, Sept. 29 through Oct. 4, offers many fun reasons to celebrate your connection to the MCC! This annual celebration of MCC spirit is hosted by the Monroe Community College Foundation in partnership with the Campus Association for Student Activities at MCC (C.A.S.A).
This year’s Alumni Week highlights include a virtual homecoming webinar for those who are curious to see the most recent additions to MCC’s Brighton Campus on Monday, Sept. 29; faculty lectures on Wednesday; a Damon City Campus faculty appreciation luncheon on Thursday; an alumni golf outing at Lakeshore Country Club and cooking demonstrations hosted by the Hospitality Management Dept. on Friday.
Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 4 begins with the MCC Foundation’s 2nd annual 5K Walk/Run for scholarships followed by family fun and fitness activities and an exciting MCC Lady Tribunes vs. Bryant and Stratton soccer game at noon! Lunch will be offered in the Alumni Hospitality Tent from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Courtesy of C.A.S.A., Comedian Pauly Shore will perform at 7:30 pm that evening in MCC’s Stabins Physical Education Complex (Bldg. 10), The general public may purchase tickets to Pauly Shore at http://www.monroecctickets.com; tickets are $15 each; $5 with MCC student identification. Special $10 alumni rate tickets for Pauly Shore are available by calling the MCC Foundation at x1500.
