Rochester business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs will come to MCC once again to learn best practices and tap into community resources at the 2nd annual Pathways to Entrepreneurial Success Forum presented. The community resource forum will be held 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, November 18, at MCC.
Representatives of Monroe County, the City of Rochester, Rochester SCORE and local businesses have partnered with MCC and other local colleges and universities to plan an outstanding forum – designed to cultivate entrepreneurial thinking and help new and existing businesses grow in our community.
President Anne Kress will open the forum at 8 a.m. Plenary sessions will cover the personal journeys and challenges faced by leading entrepreneurs and the key resources offered by government agencies, business development organizations and local colleges. Dynamic workshops include using networking and social media to promote your business, marketing on a shoestring budget, and creating a business plan.
More than 400 local entrepreneurs attended the first forum in 2009.
