Urban Education is a topic of great interest to all. MCC hosted an Summer Urban Institute for Future Math, Science and Social Studies Teachers this past summer. Carlton Maxwell, one of our very own MCC future teachers, participated in this program. Throughout this experience, he gained many insights to urban education. He was able to apply what he learned about urban classrooms, urban learners, lesson planning, and national standards to his placement for EDU 208. Come to hear him speak next week!
