The MCC Shuttle is changing its route between the Brighton and Damon City campuses starting today (Tuesday, April 30) through Thursday, May 9, while filming for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” movie takes place in downtown Rochester.
Changes to the route were made at the request of the Rochester Police Department. The new route is expected to add a few minutes to travel time, but still be within the usual half-hour commute schedule. However, please be aware that delays can happen. Students and employees are encouraged to plan ahead and allow for extra time when traveling between campuses.
The pickup and drop-off locations are unchanged.
Because different portions of Main Street will be closed at different times, I encourage you to regularly check the City’s Spider Man webpage for information on street closures and detour maps. You can also follow the City’s Twitter feed @cityrochesterny (#SpideyRoc) or the City’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cityofrochester.ny.
