Emerson U. Fullwood Named to MCC Foundation Board


The Monroe Community College Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Emerson U. Fullwood as its newest member. Through his three-year term, Fullwood will support the foundation’s mission to seek and secure private funds to deliver educational excellence and student scholarships at Monroe Community College.

A corporate vice president of Xerox Corporation, Fullwood also serves as president of the Xerox Channels Group. He has been employed by Xerox since 1972, having served in a variety of leadership, sales management, marketing and distribution roles.

A winner of numerous community awards and honors, Fullwood also serves on the boards of SPX Corporation and the Xerox Foundation. He is an officer and director on the boards of the United Way of Greater Rochester, Rochester Urban League, Rochester Area Community Foundation and the Rochester Boy Scouts of America Otetiana Council among others.

Fullwood holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics from North Carolina State University and a master of business administration degree in marketing from Columbia University. He, his wife, Vernita, and their two children reside in Pittsford, N.Y.
