MCC Presents Neil Simon’s Play “Rumors”

What part of Cookie's body is out of whack? Where does Charlie shoot himself? Where does Chris hide Charlie's Valium? The answers to these questions and others will all be revealed when Monroe Community College students take the stage in the spring production of Neil Simon’s farcical play “Rumors.”

WHERE: MCC Theatre, Bldg 4, Brighton Campus, 1000 East Henrietta Rd.
WHEN: 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 and 2 p.m., Sunday April 3

DETAILS: At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse, the deputy mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife, Chris, must get the story straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusion and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.

Tickets, $8 with MCC ID and $10 for the general public, are available at: www.monroecctickets.com; at the Brighton Campus Center Service Desk located in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center; and at the Damon City Campus bookstore. For further information, call the Campus Center office at: 585-292-2534.
