Tonight's Channel 8 newscast at 6:00 PM will feature a segment on the Dual Credit "Weather and Climate" (GEG 104) course offered at Eastridge High School (East Irondequoit). This is the first Dual Credit course offered by the Chemistry and Geosciences Department and Steve Perry serves as the MCC faculty liaison. The segment will focus on how the high school students, through the school's computer lab, are able to access real time weather data that they then analyze and work with like professional meteorologists.
