SECOND CALL- Residence Hall Helping Hands Volunteers Needed

Again...I'm here to rave, rally, and ready troops to be Hands. And not just any Hands, but Helping Hands.

The Office of Housing and Residence Life would love to have you join us for our opening day when we welcome 406 residents to their homes in the Alice Holloway Young Commons.

Come be a part of the excitement on September 3rd and volunteer to lend these residents a hand in getting all their "stuff" up and in.

So if you have Labor Day weekend plans…cancel them, your child needs time with you…give ‘em a rain check, you win the lottery…send donations to The Martin Relief Fund.

What ever you have going on, I know you'll want to include this into your schedule. And if this mild incessant ploy doesn’t work, how about some good ole fashion peer pressure…”Com‘on all the cool kids are doing it. You don’t want to be the only one not there…just think of what your colleagues will say. Come on...be Nike…just do it.”

If you want to volunteer, be sure to sign up on our website:   https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/reshalls/volunteerform.htm

Volunteer check-in starts at 9:30am in the commons quad to get your Helping Hands T-shirt, or come "Dressed to Impress", just please be sure to come dressed. See you there.
