Clean Sweeping Brighton and Rochester

The Town of Brighton is following the City of Rochester’s lead in cleaning up its neighborhoods. MCC student leaders will be participating on Saturday, April 26 – can we get some faculty and staff to pitch in as well?

If you’d like to join the MCC Clean Sweep team for the Town of Brighton Clean Sweep, Saturday, April 26, drop a line to <<mailto:ccooper@monroecc.edu>>; we’ll take care of registering the MCC team. Help us help our “hometown.” The details are:

9:00 a.m. Kickoff at the Brighton Town Hall, 2300 Elmwood Avenue
9:30-11:00 a.m. Clean up those streets, creeks and trails!
11:30 a.m. Participants gather together to celebrate our First Annual Clean Sweep with lunch at French Road Elementary School Cafetorium.

Of course, we will still be part of the City of Rochester’s Clean Sweep. Join us Saturday, May 31, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in and around Edgerton Park. If you’d like to join the MCC Clean Sweep team for the Rochester Clean Sweep, Saturday, May 31, drop a line to <<mailto:ccooper@monroecc.edu>>; we’ll take care of registering the MCC team. Help us help our other “hometown.”
