ALP Conference at MCC May 22-23

On May 22-23, Monroe Community College will be hosting a professional development event at which all faculty and staff interested in co-requisite support courses are welcome. The event is part of the SUNY Developmental Learning Community that has been working to scale up co-requisites across SUNY. Faculty from colleges in the western region of the state will be attending, so it will be an excellent opportunity to share experience and expertise.

The format will be that of a mini-conference. Wednesday 5/22 will be the primary event, with concurrent sessions in the morning and focused workshops in the afternoon. Thursday 5/23 will be more focused, and can take whatever form suits the attendees' needs best.

The emphasis thus far has been on ENG 101 co-requisites, but if you are interested in math co-requisites, please consider attending and presenting.

If you are interested in presenting, the "Call for Proposals" is attached.

An agenda will be sent out after the April 5th proposal submission deadline.
