The candidates will meet with a variety of stakeholder groups as indicated in the attached schedule. The Open Forums will be conducted virtually and in-person and open to the entire MCC community.</p>

<p><strong>Shawn J. Farr </strong></p>

<p>Shawn Farr currently serves as Vice President of Administration and Finance, and Chief Financial Officer, for Central Penn College located in the Harrisburg region of Central Pennsylvania in Summerdale, PA. In this capacity, he is responsible for the financial services, facilities, public safety and health, and financial aid departments of the College, as well as dining services and a conference center.</p>

<p>Previously in his career, he worked in higher education in California overseeing administrative and business operations at campuses in the California State University System; including an assignment at the Chancellor&rsquo;s Office overseeing the auxiliary operations of the CSU, System. He also worked for many years in and around K-12 education in Pennsylvania. &nbsp;He holds an M.B.A. from California State University, Bakersfield and a B.S. in Business Administration with an option in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach. He resides in Carlisle, Pennsylvania with his wife Shireen.</p>

<p><strong>Gregory T. Hinton</strong></p>

<p>Greg Hinton has served in multiple leadership capacities in higher education, military, public and private sector.&nbsp; He is passionate about helping others achieve their education goals. Greg graduated from Brown University with a double major in business economics and public policy. He earned his MBA w/ master&rsquo;s in human resources development from Webster University. Having worked on strategic projects from extensive reorganization to comprehensive plans for diversity, equity, and inclusion, with extensive background in human resources and auditing, he has a strong desire to help people grow individually and serve as a catalyst to inspire teams to become stronger. Greg was awarded the Superior Civilian Award, while serving as the Comptroller for the 98th Division in Irondequoit, NY.&nbsp; He has completed the Executive Cost Management certification course at University of South Carolina and has managed teams including information technology, contracting, human resources, real property, and budgetary resources. His program management experience includes managing a portfolio of $15 billion with Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority, where he worked with a talented group of medical scientists at Health and Human Services. Greg is well versed in capital projects having overseen the completion of new construction for STEM building and currently overseeing a $30 million library renovation project at North Seattle College.</p>

<p>Jim Brigham is the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer at Jacksonville State University.&nbsp; Prior to JSU he was Vice President of Internal Audit Services &amp; Chief Compliance Officer for PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. PETCO is a three-billion-dollar retailer headquartered in San Diego and San Antonio. Prior to PETCO, Jim was a Senior Manager in Deloitte &amp; Touche&rsquo;s Dallas ERS practice. He is an internal audit and retail specialist with more than 35 years of experience with national and regional retailers.&nbsp; Prior to Deloitte &amp; Touche, Jim was Senior Director of Internal Audit and Ethics Officer for Dollar General Corporation, an $11 billion retailer headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Jim&rsquo;s experience includes leading finance, internal audit, and loss prevention functions for three national retailers. Additionally, he has experience as a corporate controller, CFO, and vice president of a shared services organization. He has experience in performing enterprise-wide risk assessments, building strategic finance teams, professional internal audit functions, and developing and executing risk-based internal audit plans.</p>

The College will be hosting open forums for the three finalists of the Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, Administrative Services position.
