Phone System Down for Upgrades During Holiday Break


MCC will be without telephone service on Wednesday, December 28 through Thursday, December 29.  This shutdown will allow the College to upgrade both its central hardware and software programs to industry standards.  This two-day event will impact both incoming and outgoing calls and voicemail.  Incoming calls and voicemail will be recorded, and voicemail messages will be sent  to the appropriate offices after the shutdown. Callers to MCC on these dates will hear a recorded message announcing the service shutdown and instructions for leaving voice messages.

The current telephone system was implemented in 2006-07 and is currently several editions behind recommended upgrades.
