Visiting Fiction Writer Dinah Cox on MCC Campus: 11/3-4/2016


On Thursday, November 3, from 7-8:15 PM, fiction writer Dinah Cox will read and sign books in The Forum, of the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center. This event is free and open to all. On Friday, November 4, Cox will lead a writing workshop in 8-200, from 12-12:50 PM. This event is free and open to members of the MCC community. Both events are sponsored by the College’s Creative Arts Committee.

Dinah Cox’s stories have appeared in such places as StoryQuarterly, Prairie Schooner, Salt Hill, Cream City Review, Calyx, Copper Nickel, Beloit Fiction Journal, and Quarterly West. She has also won prizes from The Atlantic Monthly, The Texas Observer, and Hayden’s Ferry Review. A teacher in the English Department at Oklahoma State University, she is also associate editor at Cimmaron Review.  In 2016, BOA Editions published Remarkable, Dinah’s first full-length book of short stories. She lives in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
