NY DOT Schedules Overnight Ramp Closures This Week Along I-390/I-590

The New York State Department of Transportation has announced several upcoming ramp closures expected to take place in the evening and overnight hours this week to perform crack sealing along the I-390/I-590 interchange in Brighton, Monroe County.

On Thursday, September 5, at 9:00 p.m., the I-390 southbound mainline ramp to I-390S at the I-590 interchange will close until Friday morning. Additional lane closures along I-590N from I-390 will take place during this time. Traffic will be detoured using Winton Road.

On Friday, September 6, at 9:00 p.m., the I-390 northbound ramp from I-390N at the I-590 interchange will close until the following morning. Traffic will be detoured using Winton Road.

On Friday, September 6, at 9:00 p.m., the I-390N ramp to I-590N at the interchange will close until the following morning. Traffic will be detoured using Route 15A (E. Henrietta Road).

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual's driver's license.
