Colleen Brennan-Barry, MCC’s Web communications manager, was invited to speak at the recent Penn State Web Conference, held June 13-14. 2011 on the Penn State campus in University Park, PA. Her presentation, “Sound the Alarm: Preparing (& Surviving) Web-Based Crisis Communications Strategy,” addressed developing solid strategy to drive the tools, workflows, messages and tactic-rich communication plans guiding higher education institutions safely and successfully through emergency situations.
