#ReachHigher with MCC & the White House this Friday, May 1st!

MCC has been selected to partner with the White House this Friday, May 1, to celebrate Reach Higher Day, an initiative of the First Lady of the United States to show support to current and future college students committed to completing their education beyond high school.

It’s a big deal to make the decision to attend college, and to stick with it to successfully earn that degree. So join us in showing your pride in our MCC students, past, present and future:

  • Wear MCC Colors: Flood the hallways with MCC pride – wear your College colors on Friday! Let’s see a sea of black and gold as we celebrate the drive and commitment it takes to #ReachHigher. (Need new MCC-themed gear? The Bookstore is having a special #ReachHigher sale, with 75% off select black and gold clothing!)
  • Be Part of our #ReachHigher Group Picture: Join us in the Flynn Campus Center Atrium at 12 p.m. (College Hour!) for an MCC-themed #ReachHigher picture that we’ll send to the White House!
  • Visit our #ReachHigher Hallway: The second floor hallway of Brighton Campus’s Spina Administration Building (Bldg 1) will have giveaways, a #ReachHigher selfie station, and more.
  • Post on Social Media: We’ll be posting #ReachHigher pictures and videos all day on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can share what the College is posting, or put up your own posts tagged #ReachHigher.

Learn more about #ReachHigher Day at https://www.whitehouse.gov/reach-higher, and plan to celebrate with us on Friday!
