Video Recordings Now Available of the June 5 Teaching & Learning Conference Webinars

On behalf of the Teaching and Creativity Center, I'd like to thank all who attended the 2020 Teaching & Learning Conference, A Day with Cia Verschelden. There were over 100 attendees for each webinar, and then a few dozen who participated in the breakout group workshops with Cia later in the afternoon.

While the Teaching & Learning Conference typically marks the end of our year's programming, the issues that Cia focuses on (in her book Bandwidth Recovery as well as in her presentations with us) are by no means "finished" now. Just as we remind our students that learning never stops, the same is true for us as educators and professional staff and administrators. When it comes to matters of equity and educational justice in higher education, there is more work to do.

If you were unable to attend the conference (or even if you were!), you can watch the webinar videos here:

In each webinar, Cia references handouts which you can access using this link.

Thank you to everyone who makes the annual Teaching & learning Conference possible. A special shout out especially to our College's wonderful technology specialists, without whom the switch to a webinar format this year simply would have been a disaster. Phil O., Andy E., Sean S., Jeremy C., and all who assisted them behind the scenes: Thank you thank you thank you.
