Are you missing your desktop icon for Outlook 2003?


Has your computer just been upgraded to Microsoft Office 2003?
 
Are you missing your desktop icon for Outlook?  Here is how to create it.

Select the 'Start' button in the lower left corner of the screen.
Select 'Programs', 'General Applications', 'Microsoft Office 2003'
Locate the Outlook 2003 software and double click it.
A message will say Outlook is installing.
Once Outlook opens, an icon will be created on the Taskbar next to the Start button at the lower left corner of the screen.

If you would also like an Outlook icon on your desktop, follow these steps.

First minimize any open software packages.
Select the 'Start' button in the lower left corner of the screen.
Select 'Programs', 'General Applications', 'Microsoft Office 2003'
Locate the Outlook 2003 software and point on it and press the right mouse button.
Select ‘Send To’ and ‘Desktop (create shortcut)’.
The Outlook 2003 desktop icon will appear.
Double click it to start the software.
