Teaching and working in person this spring? Here's what you need to do.

If you are a faculty or staff member assigned to teach and work at the Applied Technologies Center, Brighton Campus and/or Downtown Campus during the spring semester, you are required to:

  • Complete a daily COVID-19 Self-Assessment on each specific day you come to MCC in order to gain access to campus.
  • Participate in MCC COVID-19 pooled (saliva) testing on Jan. 25 or Jan. 26 or submit a negative test result to klowe5@monroecc.edu by Jan. 29.
  • Continue to show proof of a negative test result (MCC pooled testing or another provider) on a weekly basis. Please note: Yesterday, Jan. 19, SUNY provided supplemental guidance that now requires weekly testing of all faculty, staff and students who come to campus during the spring semester. This change is also reflected on our MCC Updates & Resources web pages.*

If you are assigned to work remotely and do not foresee coming to campus for any reason during the spring semester, you do not need to submit self-assessment and participate in COVID-19 pooled testing.

Questions? Contact us at covid19response@monroecc.edu.

* Per the Monroe County Department of Public Health, individuals who are vaccinated for COVID-19 (one or two vaccinations) still must test weekly. There is no evidence that immunity exists after vaccination.
