John Wadach, Professor of Engineering Science and Physics has co-authored the 2005 American Society of Engineering Educators (ASEE) student design competition project specifications with Paul Gordy of Tidewater Community College located in Virginia Beach. The project will require students to design and build autonomous robots capable of delivering ping pong balls into four pockets on an 8' X 8' surface. The competition will take place on June 13, 2005 in Portland, Oregon. MCC students plan to compete in Portland and hope to improve on their third place finish in last year's ASEE competion.
