College and Faculty Association Agree to One-Year Contract Extension

I join Bethany Gizzi, President, Faculty Association, in announcing that the College and the Faculty Association have reached an agreement to extend the existing FA collective bargaining agreement one additional year (September 1, 2020 – August 31, 2021).

A commitment to working together, a willingness to listen to one another’s concerns, and the respectful exchange of ideas resulted in an extension agreement that is mutually beneficial for the College and FA members.

This sets the stage for negotiations of a successor agreement and the College and the FA are eager to get to work.  Like this negotiations process, we enter the upcoming negotiations guided by the College’s core values – integrity, excellence, empowerment, inclusiveness, collaboration and stewardship – and our shared dedication to the success of MCC students.

If you have questions, please reach out to Bethany Gizzi or Kristin Lowe, Director, Human Resources.
