Dr. Robert Manning Presents "Magic Plastic: What does debt have to do with it?"


On Monday, March 17 in the MCC Theatre, building 4, Dr. Robert Manning will present "Magic Plastic:  What does debt have to do with it?". 

Dr. Manning is a prize-winning author, RIT professor and founder and president of Newtonian Finances Ltd. His recent book "Credit Card Nation" received the 2001 Robert Ezra Park Award for Outstanding Contributions to Sociological Practice. Dr. Manning has testified at the U.S. Senate Committtee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs as well as several federal commissions and agencies. His research has contributed to the national financial education movement, as well as federal and state legislation, including the Bankruptcy Act and College Student Credit Card Protection Act.
