Tomorrow is MCC's Scholars' Day! Please Support Your Students and Colleagues!

The Scholars’ Day Committee is proud to invite you to Monroe Community College’s first “Scholars’ Day” conference, featuring original scholarship and research by MCC students and faculty.

Opening remarks begin at 9:30AM, followed by our keynote address by Dr. Alan Lightman at 10AM in the MCC Theater.  The schedule of events runs through 3:00PM.

Please visit the Scholars’ Day webpage for a complete conference schedule and submission abstracts.  We know you will agree with us that there is an incredible range of very interesting, original work going on across our campuses.  We’ve been able to highlight only a small fraction during our inaugural year.

This is the first community college event of its kind in the United States, so please consider joining us to celebrate academic life and the hard work of our faculty and students.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

And remember:  It is never too early to begin planning your submission and/or student assignment directed toward Scholars’ Day 2010.

Sincerely

MCC’s Scholars’ Day Committee
