Branding Update: Brand in Transition


MCC’s refreshed brand — along with our new tagline, “Inspiring Every Day.” — made its official debut last week on All College Days.  The essence of the brand is based solidly on market research, reflecting how our faculty and staff inspire students to be great every day and how our students, in turn, inspire us. Thank you for the positive feedback on the brand and for the many internal partners who contributed to its development.

We also appreciate your patience as we work to deliver the brand guidelines and tools to the college community. It is very important that we send a consistent message to our students and community.  An online “brand toolkit” is being developed, including logos, templates, and brand guidelines. Available templates will include letterhead, business cards, PowerPoint presentation, an optional email signature and more. At this time, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM CREATING LETTERHEAD using the logo on your own. Look for an update on templates in next week’s MCC Daily Tribune.

Presentations to individual departments and groups are underway to introduce the refreshed brand to faculty and staff. Brown bag sessions will be scheduled at campuses and sites throughout the fall.
