Employees Who Do Not Voluntarily Verify Vaccination are Required to Test for COVID-19

Pending discussions with Faculty Association and CSEA leaders, MCC plans to continue to require employees who choose not to voluntarily verify vaccination and who teach/work in person to test weekly for COVID-19 through December 22, 2022.

The SUNY mandate requiring weekly COVID-19 testing for all unvaccinated students has not changed and remains in effect at this time.

Updates will be shared via email, the MCC Daily Tribune, and the COVID-19 Updates & Resources web pages.

Free testing is offered 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the Flynn Campus Center Forum. Thank you to those colleagues who continue to closely monitor their health and take the time to test.

Reminders:

  1. SUNY and MCC encourage you to get vaccinated – and get a booster if you are eligible – to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
  2. Employees are able to verify both vaccination and booster information using the Employee Vaccination Verification form. You must be signed in to myMCC in order to access the verification portal. Your information will remain confidential.
  3. MCC’s Telecommuting Pilot Program is in effect through Wednesday, August 31. An official policy is being drafted.
  4. If you test positive for COVID-19 using a home test or with an outside health care provider, please notify MCC Human Resources at (585) 292-2048 or hr@monroecc.edu immediately. Do not come to campus. Home tests can be obtained at pharmacies and most local libraries.

Please send your questions to MCC Coordinator Strategic Planning/Emergency Manager Chuck DiSalvo, Public Safety, x2926 or cdisalvo@monroecc.edu
