Bright Spot Shines on Dr. DeAnna R. Burt-Nanna

Following an interview at the Rochester Rotary Club's April virtual luncheon, Rotarian Don Alhart highlighted incoming MCC President Dr. DeAnna R. Burt-Nanna in yesterday evening's 13WHAM Bright Spot segment. 

When asked how she hopes MCC students will perceive her, Dr. Burt-Nanna replied, "An individual said to me, 'You have a unique ability to make everybody feel seen' and so I really hope that I'm seen. It is my priority to be present - a present leader - a leader that understands what's happening in the institution and what's needed and cares about the people that serve alongside me," she said. "I hope students will say, 'She rocks!'"
