On Monday, December 14, 2015 we will present the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans (a webinar on 'Supporting African American Men Pursuing STEM Degrees') in partnership with Drs. Frank Harris, III and J. Luke Wood Co-Directors of the Minority Male Community College Consortium at San Diego State University.  The discussion will highlight strategies for recruiting and retaining African American men to and through STEM degrees in community colleges and other post-secondary institutions. Dr. Marvin Carr of the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy will join the discussion sharing federal efforts to provide equity in access to STEM course work and careers through the My Brother's Keeper and Tech Hire initiatives.

Your host will be Khalilah Harris, deputy director, White House initiatives on Educational Excellence for African Americans.
