The TCC Presents... "The Reality of Today's High School Teachers and Counselors" Panel Discussion
The TCC has invited a panel of teachers and counselors from area high schools to share their perceptions with regard to what high school students experience daily and any trends they've seen over the years followed by questions from the audience. Some of the issues to be addressed could include the following:
* How are students prepared for college?
* What are the challenges that teachers face with regard to curriculum restrictions? (i.e. building/department, district, or SUNY)
* What are the challenges in the high school classroom?
* What changes have you seen in the ability of your students to think critically and take tests?
* What do you hear about MCC? What can MCC do better?
