Susan LaClair, an employee in the Admissions Office, was involved in a serious car accident on January 18, 2013 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin while visiting family members. As a result of the accident, Susan suffered many injuries including broken arm, leg, ribs, and massive head trauma. She was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her husband of over 27 years, Rick, has been by her side in Minnesota and away from their two sons in Rochester and his job at RIT.
Susan and her family’s lives have drastically changed since the accident. The Admissions Office is kindly asking the MCC community for its support, and is taking a collection to help defray some of the family’s financial burdens. If you would like to donate, please see Bernadette Duffy or Janette McGimsey in the Admissions Office. We are taking cash donations until Wednesday, February 20 at 2 pm.
A money order for the total amount will be sent to Rick LaClair to use as he feels it’s most needed.
