<p>Regardless of vaccination status, if you work in-person at an MCC site or campus, we strongly encourage you to test at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.monroecc.edu/index.php?id=29501" target="_blank">MCC&rsquo;s Pooled Testing Center</a>&nbsp;on the Brighton Campus&mdash;at least once&mdash;between Monday, Jan. 24 through Thursday, Feb. 3. By doing so, you will help MCC deliver a comprehensive baseline assessment of the absence/presence of COVID-19 within the college community.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Last week&rsquo;s COVID-19 Test Results as of Jan. 30:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>17 positive cases were identified among students, faculty and staff who participated in MCC-administered testing (pooled and rapid tests only) during the week of Jan. 24.</li>
<li>16 students are isolating off campus.</li>
<li>No students are&nbsp;isolating on campus.</li>
<li>No students are in mandatory or precautionary quarantine.</li>
<li>Monroe County 7-day average positivity rate: 8.6% (Source: <a href="https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/positive-tests-over-time-region-and-county">New York State</a>).</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Verified Employee COVID Isolation and Quarantine Data*:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>2 MCC employees received a COVID isolation order based upon on-campus administered testing (pooled and rapid tests) during the week of Jan. 24.</li>
<li>2 employees received a COVID isolation order based upon off-campus administered testing.</li>
<li>No employees are currently subject to a Monroe County Department of Health&nbsp;quarantine order.</li>
</ul>

<li>If you feel ill or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (e.g., fever, cough, chills, etc.), please contact your health care provider or urgent care. Do not come to MCC. Do not contact MCC Health Services as responding to student health needs is their No. 1 priority.</li>
<li>If you have&nbsp;<strong>not&nbsp;<a href="https://www.monroecc.edu/mccannou.nsf/All+Current+Listings+By+Date/2EAB0BCBE564BA3685258722005231FA?OpenDocument" target="_blank">verified vaccination</a></strong>&nbsp;and you plan to come to campus&mdash;frequently or infrequently&mdash;for any reason, <strong>you must test each week for COVID-19</strong>.&nbsp;</li>
<li>If you test positive for COVID-19, contact Human Resources and Organizational Development, at <a href="tel:292-2048">292-2048</a> or&nbsp;<a href="mailto:HR@monroecc.edu">HR@monroecc.edu</a>. &nbsp;</li>
<li>If a student notifies you that they tested positive for COVID-19 or have been instructed to quarantine (i.e., have been potentially exposed to the virus), direct them to immediately contact MCC Health Services at <a href="tel:292-2018">292-2018</a> or&nbsp;<a href="mailto:healthsvc@monroec.edu">healthsvc@monroec.edu</a>&nbsp;and the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities&nbsp;<a href="mailto:studentrights@monroecc.edu">studentrights@monroecc.edu</a>&nbsp;to confirm next steps.</li>
