Transfer College Application Resources

Students are starting to fill out applications to transfer to four-year colleges. The Common Application has created a new "Common App On Track" app, available on iOS and Android, that allows students to manage their application progress and requirements, track college deadlines, and assign recommenders. They also have a designated YouTube channel with tutorials.

For faculty, there is a guide for submitting recommendations: https://www.commonapp.org/counselors-and-recommenders/recommender-guide

Keep in mind that it may be best to use the SUNY application. See: https://www.suny.edu/applysuny/. If a student is graduating from MCC, they can apply to up to seven SUNY schools for free with one easy application. For some, using the college's admission application on their website is the best choice.
