The MCC Student Government Association invites MCC faculty and staff to support the Read Across America effort, a nationwide celebration of literacy, during the month of March. By doing so, volunteer readers will not only be a role model for the young children on our campus, but will also help the MCC Child Care Center earn valuable supplies through Campbell Soup's "Labels for Education" program.
Please contact the MCC Student Government Office at ext. 2496 to schedule a half-hour appointment to read a favorite book to preschoolers (ages 3-4) at the MCC Child Care Center. Unique storytelling styles encouraged. Guest readers may also bring puppets or props to enhance the story.
