2009 Summer Camps at Monroe Community College

The Campus Events Office, Housing and Residence Life Office, and the MCC Association welcomes summer camps to the MCC campus again this year.  Please welcome from June 24th through July 29th, 2009 USA Hockey, The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI) and First Baptist Church.

USA Hockey brings over 1300 people to Monroe Community College from all over the country to hold 10 camps for boys, girls, women’s officials and men’s officials.  This camp also highlights MCC nationally as many families travel to the Rochester area during their child’s stay with us in the residence halls.

The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired is new to MCC this year and is highlighting a skills based camp for the blind and visually impaired.

We are pleased to welcome back First Baptist Church which travels to us from Alabama.  It is volunteer work in the Rochester area that brings this camp to stay in our residence halls.

I hope you will join me in welcoming all the new and returning guests at the MCC residence halls during summer 2009.
