Want to know more about the experiences of and services for refugees who are your neighbors, colleagues, fellow students, and potential clients? Mark Tuesday, April 17, from 3:30-5:00 PM on your calendar for a panel presentation in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center, Empire Room (3-209) on the Brighton Campus, “New Land, New Home, New Life: Refugees’ Experiences and Services,” sponsored by the MCC Diversity Council. The presentation is free and open to the public.

The following experts will talk about the experiences of Liberian refugees and Rochester-area services for all refugees: Danielle Taana Smith, associate professor, RIT; Jim Morris, director, Refugee Resettlement Services, Catholic Family Services; Jay Piper, principal, RCSD School No. 15, The Children’s School of Rochester; Jim Sutton, director of the Office of Community Medicine, Rochester General Health System. Join us for a program that complements several other events presented at MCC this spring!
