TCC: Faculty Practices that Promote Student Retention Survey

The Teaching and Creativity Center (TCC) has been collecting your opinions for many years, and we use it to inform our programming. At this point, we are interested in learning if and how our programs influence faculty's teaching practice and student retention. Would you kindly join us in this self-assessment effort?

The faculty survey is divided into 5 short sections and will take you 10-15 minutes to complete. It is completely anonymous. What you share will not be used to inform any faculty retention or promotion processes. Data that we collect will be used to inform faculty development opportunities that the TCC offers.

The link to the survey is: http://bit.ly/MCCretention

Thank you for your willingness to participate! We know that you are busy faculty, and your time is very much appreciated. Please only take the survey once. It will be open until Thursday, March 4.

Want to know more about the survey?

This survey has been adapted from results of the 2019 research project on faculty practices that promote student retention at MCC, which was completed by our own Jason Anderson (Chemistry/Geosciences). We hope to collect baseline data through this survey and track changes over time. To that end, we hope to have as many of our faculty as possible complete the survey this semester.

If you would like to know more about the the 2019 CARE study findings, please visit the TCC's Blackboard site.
