NUR 111 with C*#
NUR 150 APPLICATION OF THE NURSING PROCESS is required for transfer students, students admitted with advanced standing, re-entering NUR 112, NUR 211 & NUR 212, and students returning to the program after an absence of one year. Completion of NUR 150 is valid for one year. Students re-entering NUR 111 do not need to take NUR 150. NUR 150 cannot be used as an elective. Any deviation from the basic program of study requires written approval by the department.
NOTE: Current CPR Certification for two person professional rescuer, which includes infant, child, adult,, resuscitation mask and AED is required for all students. American Heart Association, American Red Cross is acceptable. Clinical Agency Certification is not acceptable. Proof of certification must be submitted to the department at least one month prior to starting the program. Students need to complete any TRS or ESL courses prior to enrollment in the program. The program of study must be completed within five years of matriculation.
#A grade of 'C' required in all Nursing courses for continued matriculation. No student may progress to the next nursing course level without successful completion of all courses in previous level. Readmission, transfer into program, or repeating any nursing course requires departmental approval. A student who fails to achieve a grade of ‘C’ or better in 2 clinical nursing courses will be considered ineligible to continue in the Nursing program without approval from the Nursing Dept.
