CROSS REGISTRATION NOTE: ENVS
101 is offered in fall only at RIT. Students who begin MCC
in the fall semester should cross register for ENVS 101 at the Rochester
Institute of Technology in their 1st semester. Students who begin
MCC in the spring must cross register for ENVS 101 the following fall
semester.
ENVS 201 is offered in spring only
at RIT.
STSO 220 is offered in fall only
at RIT.
Students with scheduling issues may
petition to have STSO 120 (Intro to Environmental Studies) substitute for
STSO 220.
To stay on track, students who begin
MCC in the spring should cross register for ENVS 201 and STSO 120 concurrently,
substituting STSO 120 for STSO 220. See Advisement and Transfer
Services representative for cross-registration information.
NOTE: MCC GEG 130 and GEG 230
fulfill the RIT Environmental Science degree requirement for RIT ENVS 250
Applications of GIS.
NOTE: MCC BIO 260 will substitute
for RIT BIOL 240 General Ecology.
NOTE: AP, IB, CLEP, HIGH SCHOOL DUAL
CREDIT COURSES, ONLINE COURSES: Credits showing as accepted at MCC
may not be transferable. Students should meet with 4 year college
representative or the MCC Advisement & Transfer Services to determine
if those credits are transferable.
NOTE: Two courses of a
200 level are required for the MCC LA04 degree and must be met for graduation.
Make sure you complete two 200 level courses.
A GPA of 2.0 is required for completion
and graduation in this MCC 2+2 major.
2.75 GPA required for continuation at
RIT in the B.S.Environmental Science major.

Matriculated, Continuous, Full Time Enrollment (12 or more credit hours).
The Liberal Arts A.S. (LA04) will be
