Additional
Program Information:
* ELT 121 may serve as the prerequisite.
**RIT also requires MTH 225 and PHY 146 or CHE 151.They are not required
to meet MCC ET01. Students may elect to take these courses in summer sessions
at MCC or take the equivalent courses at RIT. If student begins at MTH
210, see Department Chair for MTH 225 to substitute for MTH 175.
NOTE: Electronics courses are normally offered only one semester per
year, and have as a prerequisite certain lower numbered ELT courses. Failure
to complete ELT courses in a properly planned sequence may result in a
delay of graduation. Most other courses in this program are available Fall,
Spring and Summer sessions.
NOTE: AP, IB, CLEP, HIGH SCHOOL DUAL CREDIT COURSES, ONLINE COURSES: Credits
showing as accepted at MCC may not be transferable. Students should meet
with a representative of the four year college or the MCC Advisement and
Transfer Services to determine if those credits are transferable.
A GPA of 2.0 is
required for completion and graduation in this MCC 2+2 major.
2.75 GPA required for continuation at RIT in the Electrical Engineering
and Computer Engineering Technology majors.
