Brockport requires PSY 101 and PSY 108 and transfers a maximum of 4 of the following PSY courses: PSY 205, PSY 206, PSY 215 (generally offered Fall only), and Developmental Psychology (PSY 201 or 202 or 212). Grade of 'C' or higher in PSY courses is required by Brockport


NOTE: AP, IB, CLEP, HIGH SCHOOL DUAL CREDIT COURSES, ONLINE COURSES: Credits showing as accepted at MCC may not be transferable. Students should meet with a representative of the four year college or the MCC Advisement and Transfer Services to determine if those credits are transferable.

A GPA of 2.0 is required for completion and graduation in this MCC 2+2 major.
A Brockport psychology GPA of 2.00 is required in order to graduate with a major in psychology.
NOTE:  For students matriculating in Fall, 2019 or later, a grade of "C" or above is required in each of the core courses. Grades of "C-" or lower in these courses are NOT acceptable and require repeats unless otherwise specified. Students who entered the program prior to Fall 2019 may opt in to this requirement.
