St. John Fisher University offers both a BA and BS degree in Chemistry. BA degrees require a minor (18 credits in another area).

St. John Fisher BA candidates need to show language proficiency. They can do that by either having transfer credit for language at the MCC 102 level, taking course(s) at Fisher to complete at the MCC 102 level or by taking a language proficiency test through the department of Modern Languages at Fisher that demonstrates proficiency at the MCC 102 or equivalent Fisher 112 level. Advanced Placement (AP) scores of 4 and above and International Baccalaureate scores of 5 and above are accepted as fulfilling the foreign language requirement. ASL courses are acceptable for a foreign language sequence.

Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for acceptance and for MCC graduation.

The Chemistry A.S. (LSC1) will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
