UB courses END 120 and END 212 (or equivalent) are prerequisite courses required in order to be accepted into the UB Environmental Design program. If unable to take the prereqs, you will be at UB for 2 1/2 years.


- BIO 116 & HIS 240 with grades of B- or higher transfer to UB as END 120

- SOC 202 (or URS 100) & SOC 209 with grades of B- or higher transfer to UB as END 212
.

- If unable to take both SOC 202 (or URS 100) and SOC 209: Cross Register for END 212 at UB in the Spring before transferring.

2.5 GPA or higher and completed prerequisites are required for acceptance into UB in the Environmental Design major. After being accepted to UB, you will need to complete an additional application for the major. As of Spring 2023, the prerequisites accepted for this program may change. It is possible that it may take a student 2 1/2 years at UB to graduate after transferring.

AP, IB, CLEP, DUAL ENROLLMENT, & TRANSFER COURSES:
Credits showing as accepted by MCC may not be transferable. Contact UB to determine if those credits are transferable.

Keep copies of your work from the courses you take at MCC to incorporate with the UB Curriculum Capstone portfolio requirement. We suggest that you archive them in Google.docs or Dropbox.


If interested in obtaining a Master's degree in Architecture after the Environmental Design degree, it is advised to take Precalculus and higher levels of math.


Two courses of a 200 level are required and must be met for MCC graduation.
 

The Liberal Arts A.S. (LA04) will be the degree student is audited against and awarded from MCC.
