MCC's robotics team has dominated both the SUNY Two Year Engineering Science Asociation (TYESA) and the National American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) two-year college design competitions in recent years.
Movies of some recent National ASEE Championship robots are shown below. All robots are autonomous.
2011 Sustainable Forester Robot (Vancouver, British Columbia) -- The forester robot was able to pick up red dowels and leave green dowels untouched. The color pattern was random.
2010 Baseball Robot (Louisville, Kentucky) -- The baseball robot had to shoot ping pong balls into three outfield targets and then round the bases.
2009 Cattle Roundup Robot (Austin, Texas) -- The roundup robot collected red and blue golf balls and then deposited them in their corresponding goals.
