Cross-Cultural Counseling
The Cross-Cultural Counselor provides support for limited English proficient (LED) students to facilitate retention by aiding in their academic, social, personal and cultural adjustment to the College, region, and North America.
Students can receive help with the following services:
- Personal counseling
- Academic, career, financial aid, and transfer advisement
- Employment issues
- Immigration issues
- Advocacy services
The Cross-Cultural Counselor serves as a resource for faculty and staff. Services include providing professional development and assisting with issues related to specific needs/challenges of limited English proficient students.
Appointments preferred and walk-ins possible.
