XRT 107 - Image Processing

This course introduces students to computer fundamentals, modern electronic processing including digital imaging receptor construction, image production on various electronic receptors, technical considerations and computer image processing with an overview of traditional film processing.

Course Learning Outcomes
1. Compare and contrast various types of image receptors.
2. Describe the use of various types of image receptors.
3. Describe the processing characteristics of various types of image receptors.
4. Identify quality assurance issues related to various types of image receptors.
