Students interested in studying Probability and Statistics might also consider MTH 260 after MTH 212 (or both MTH 211 and MTH 220) have been completed with a grade of C or higher. Note: MTH 160 and MTH 161 can also be taken as electives in this program, although these courses may not be applicable towards a Mathematics major at some four year colleges.
**Choose any two of the following: BIO 155, BIO 156, CHE 151, CHE 152, GEO 101, GEO 102, PHY 161, PHY 261, GEG 101 with GEG 100, GEG 111 with GEG 110.

***If the student has already completed a course designated as SUNY-CTRN, this requirement is considered an open elective

****CSC 101 is strongly recommended.

#This 3-credit elective may not be necessary if the student has already completed three 4-credit electives and has the minimum 12 credits of electives required for the program. The student will need to request a waiver from the Mathematics Department.
