CHE 185 - Organic Chemistry Topics for Nutrition Majors

Further study of organic chemistry for students planning to major in Nutrition at RIT. Topics to be discussed include organic functional group characteristics, reactions, and occurrence; aromatic compound nomenclature, occurrence, and properties; and polymer types, formation, and utility.
Prerequisite: CHE 100, CHE 124, or permission of instructor
