MCC Cancels Classes March 16-21, 2020 (03/14/2020)

College will remain open for students who need support services

BRIGHTON, N.Y. – March 14, 2020 – In response to recent developments in Monroe County related to the COVID-19 outbreak, Monroe Community College is canceling classes Monday-Saturday, March 16-21, 2020. MCC will remain open for students who need access to technology and other support services. Faculty and staff are to report to work.

MCC’s dental clinic is also closed to patients next week.

There are no cases of COVID-19 at MCC at this time. As previously announced, MCC will transition to distance-learning options, with limited face-to-face instruction for students, while continuing to provide support services until further notice.

MCC is taking immediate preventive measures to help reduce the density of people on campus in an effort to combat the risk of spreading this illness.
