MCC Responds to Governor's 2020 State of the State Address (01/09/2020)

Below is a statement from Monroe Community College in response to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s 2020 State of the State address:

“Access to an affordable, quality college education is integral to economic growth and the well-being of individuals and our region. Monroe Community College appreciates and supports Governor Andrew Cuomo’s proposals to expand access to higher education and invest in workforce development to create a stronger future for New Yorkers. Increasing the Excelsior Scholarship eligibility threshold to $150,000 will empower more students to achieve life-changing degrees and certificates that lead to rewarding careers.”
